Spring is in the air and the Easter Bunny is getting prepared for the first-ever Town Center Spring Easter Eggstravaganza, to be held from Noon-3:00pm at Central Park in Town Center!
The Spring Easter Eggstravaganza, free and open to the public, is guaranteed to provide a fun-filled family afternoon with all sorts of "eggstraordinary" spring things to do. Hop your way around the Central Park pond, where there will be inflatables, arts and crafts, games, a petting zoo with a wide variety of baby animals, pony rides, an egg hunt, and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
Savor the sights, smells, and sounds of the Cinco de Mayo holiday at the Boost Mobile Cinco by the Sea. This brand-new, festive event will take place on Saturday, May 6 from 2:00-10:00pm at the 31st Street Park.

The Pirate Party on the Beach returns to the Dairy Queen Grill & Chill 17th Street Park at the Virginia Beach oceanfront for two rollicking days of music, mayhem, and more! This family-friendly event features activities designed to bring out the “pirate” in everyone. Pirate games, a treasure hunt, and pirate re-enactors all combine to celebrate those scallywags we all wish we could be: pirates!
Other activities throughout the weekend include bandana-making, face-painting, weapons demonstrations, and shopping for pirate-themed merchandise.
Beach Music Cruise-In, combining bands on the beach and cars on the boardwalk, blends the best of the “oldies” with dancing under the stars in a jam-packed blast to the past! Settle into the sand as the top Beach Music bands from up and down the East Coast descend on the Virginia Beach oceanfront in a nostalgic salute to the “good old days” of cool cars and hot tunes. Stroll the boardwalk to view classic cars, hot rods, antiques, and more.
4 Wheel Parts Monsters on the Beach, presented by Pungo Off Road, brings thrills and chills to the Virginia Beach oceanfront as Monster Trucks battle for ultimate sand domination! This family-targeted event is loud, fast, and exciting. A course is built right on the beach at 6th Street, with bleachers overlooking from the boardwalk. Sand dunes and junk cars combine to make the race course fast and fun for drivers and spectators alike. This is a ticketed event, with prices designed to fit the family budget. Each of the four shows is approximately 2 hours in length.
Kite fliers and spectators of all ages will experience a visual feast at the Annual Atlantic Coast Kite Festival. Held in two locations, this popular event features a variety of activities appropriate for all ages and all levels of kite aficionados.
